Nancy Canedo has a lot of love for life and family. Her smile is infectious and she has admirable life goals. She has three amazing children and everything she does is for them. Currently, Nancy is wrapping up her degree in business management at Cincinnati State College. She joined Uriel’s Auto Repair & Sales as a general manager to diversify her business acumen. Nancy has been a small business owner for the past seven years. She is the proprietor of Luna Balloons, a balloon artistry service for events, such as baby shower and corporate parties. As a female, Mexican-American she is breaking gender and racial barriers to be a model for all women.

Her passion to serve others is reflected in her extensive humanitarian efforts. Nancy volunteers for the League of United Latin American Citizens—a Latino civil rights organization, where she assists in coordinating the administrative responsibilities regarding academic scholarships. She helps deserving Hispanic college students, such as DACA recipients, get the financial support to make their educational dreams a reality. Nancy also donates her time at Su Casa Hispanic Center, a Catholic Charity Mission based in Cincinnati. She is a volunteer interpreter at Su Casa’s health fairs, where she ensures an underserved population becomes informed about their health and can access quality medical care. As a woman of faith, she contributes to St. Charles Borromeo as an administrative assistant, helping the church serve the community.

Nancy has many favorite past times. The most notable of which are traveling and reading. She travels with her family four times out of each year. Their most visited spot is Florida. Although, they are especially fond of Mexico, because of the extended family living there. Her favorite author is Paulo Coelho. Nancy is a friendly individual and it shows through her hospitable interactions with the guests of Uriel’s Auto Repair & Sales.
